Welcome to the latest update on the SIMS RMS (Remote Monitoring System) deployment! It’s been a busy start to the year, and we are thrilled to share the significant strides we’ve made in expanding our footprint and enhancing our software capabilities.

From new municipal partnerships to game-changing feature releases, here is what’s happening in the world of SIMS.

Expanding Our Reach: Municipal Milestones

We are proud to announce major progress in our regional deployments, helping municipalities gain real-time visibility into their traffic infrastructure.

  • Stellenbosch Municipality: We have successfully onboarded 33 controllers. These sites are now being fully monitored with active data counts, providing the municipality with the insights needed to optimize traffic flow and hardware performance.
  • George Municipality: We have officially kicked off a trial phase with 7 controllers. This pilot program is a vital step toward bringing George into the SIMS ecosystem, ensuring their network is smarter and more resilient.

Product Roadmap: New Features Incoming

Our development team is working around the clock to move SIMS RMS from a monitoring tool to a comprehensive management suite.

Coming End of February: Milestone 1

Our first major software release is just around the corner! By the end of this month, users will benefit from:

  • Telegram Notifications: Get instant alerts for specific controller errors directly on your mobile device. No more waiting for manual checks; the system will tell you exactly what’s wrong, the moment it happens.
  • Configuration Management: A dedicated module to manage site configurations, ensuring consistency and version control across your entire network.

Looking Ahead: March and Beyond

The momentum doesn't stop there. We have an even larger suite of features scheduled for release at the end of March. Stay tuned for updates on enhanced reporting, advanced diagnostics, and deeper data visualization tools.
