🚦 First XTE Controller Deployed — Drakenstein Municipality
We're proud to announce the successful deployment of our first XTE Traffic Controller, installed in Drakenstein Municipality — a landmark moment for Syntell and for traffic management in South Africa more broadly.
Drakenstein has a strong track record of innovation, having previously pioneered the use of underground chambers for traffic controllers. This deployment is a natural extension of that forward-thinking approach, and we're honoured to be the technology partner helping bring it to life.

✅ SABS Testing Complete for the XTE Series Controller
The XTE Series Controller has also passed a major regulatory milestone: SABS testing has been completed, tested to standard SANS 1547:2022 Ed. 1.7.
This builds on our ongoing commitment to delivering traffic management solutions that are both innovative and dependable, and meet the standards modern road networks demand.
Combined with ICASA certification and a live customer trial currently underway, we're making strong progress toward broader deployment of the XTE Series.
